Recommends,
given a room
of its own.

A private hub where the country's media and content creators meet every title you recommend, request their review copies, and take what they need. We designed it, we built it, and it is live.

01
The Problem

The best book list of the month lives for about a day.

Every edition of Exclusive Books Recommends is twenty-six hand-picked titles, each with a real review. Right now it travels as a PDF, sent once, by email.

A journalist scrolls it on the day, then loses it in an inbox. The replies arrive anyway. Can you resend the cover. The release. Can I get a review copy. The curation is brilliant. The container is a dead end.

The Idea

So we built it a living home.

Not another website to maintain. A private, login-gated hub for media and creators, set head to toe in the language of Exclusive Books. The same monthly selection you already make, now browsable, considered, and built to be used all month long.

One link carries the cover art, the reviews, the assets and the review-copy requests, in one place that looks like it belongs to the brand.

What Is Inside · The Plates
I The Edition

The whole month, beautifully shelved.

Book of the Month at the top, then Fiction, Non-fiction and Young Adult. Cover art, reviews, the lot. Exactly the selection you make, finally laid out the way it deserves.

II Every Title

A page for every book, review and all.

Any title opens to the full write-up, the cover, and one clear next step. No more digging through a PDF for the blurb on deadline.

III Review Copies

Request a copy, the way it should work.

Media mark their favourites and request review copies on the spot, delivery details attached. The exact workflow your team runs by hand today, now a single tap on a phone.

It lands in your queue, not your inbox.

IV The Assets

Covers, releases and packs, ready to take.

The press release, the individual covers, the asset packs, all in one place. The end of the resend-the-cover email, for good.

The Reader's Path
For the media

It comes down to four taps.

1

An email and a one-time code. No passwords, no account to make.

2

Browse the edition

The full month, grouped by category, every review in place.

3

Favourite and request

Mark the books they want, then request the copies in one form.

05
Behind The Scenes

You run the whole month from one screen.

A private One-eyed Jack control room sits behind every hub. Build the edition, add books and covers, work the review-copy queue, and see which outlets and creators are engaging.

Next month, you do it again. The hub is built to be reused, edition after edition.

Where To Next
A proof of concept, already live

A starting point, not a finished thing.

Everything here is real and running today, seeded with the June edition. A few directions we are keen on.

i

The official home of Recommends

Every edition lands here first, and the PDF becomes the link instead of the destination.

ii

Open it to your creators

Bring the booktok and bookstagram community in alongside traditional media, from the one hub.

iii

Insight you can act on

See which titles draw requests and which outlets show up, edition over edition.

Next.  You have a look around, we shape it together, and we point it at next month's edition.
